Juanita & Paquito Vs The Evil Aliens

Okay, this is a game where you have to destroy enemy UFO's in order to stop an alien invasion. It is somehow losely based in C64's game Saucer Attack or the Speccy Game "Ataque de naves" published in Microhobby Cassette 02. I've added a different control system and a different firing method.

Its kind of fun and charming to see a homage to the old Microhobby games the first and unforgetting years!

I have a question, did you submit also the game to the CGC 2017? If so, did you make it public before than here?

Anyways, I saw that the video is several months old, so I will have to declare it not suitable to participate as it does not comply with one of the rules, sorry

Nope, i didn't submit to the CGC 2017. It's not crappy enough, in fact it is quite playable, even with the odd targeting method. And I don't want to host next year's contest. The result was quite a surprise.

I wrote it to test Boriel's compiler. I was more inspired by the commodore game (saucer attack) than the MH Cassette game, which i think is also inspired by the same game. But I had a speccy as a kid :-)

Sorry it doesn't comply with all the rules. I thought it would be an interesting addition to a remake contest, as it's has some weird sense of humor. The other games i'm writing will take some time, so i won't be able to submit them. I just don't have the time, i'd love to submit my version of Randax.

Yes, I am really sorry I had to rule it out of the compo, but I am afraid that I have to make sure that everyone gets the same treatment.

On another matter, I loved Randax as a kid!! I Would love to see that version participating in the compo! pretty pleaseee!
